Eco-naturalure is Australia's first organically registered spray for fruit fly. It contains 'Spinosad' (naturally produced by soil borne bacteria), humectants (which allow it to remain effective for up to 7 days), plus sugars & yeast as insect attractants. It attracts both the male & female Queensland & Mediterranean fruit flies. It works by luring the fruit fly to feed on it, and in doing so they also ingest the natural insecticide which kills them.
Treats: Fruit-fly
Use: Spray the entire tree at a low dosage or spray the lower foliage only or nearby structure (eg. wooden fence) with a more concentrated solution. Alternatively, spray a wooden board & hang amongst the foliage of the tree. Eco-naturalure can be applied to both fruit or foliage, and treated fruit can be eaten the same day.

Eco-fungicide is an organic fungicide based on food-grade potassium bocarbonate. When applied on a regular basis it has proven effective in the control of powdery mildew & other leaf diseases in the home garden by attacking existing infections & preventing new outbreaks. It works by altering the pH of the leaf surface, inhibiting the germination of any new fungal spores, and also attacking the cell walls of existing fungal infections which causes dehydration & death of the fungi.
Treats: Powdery mildew & other leaf diseases in cucumbers, strawberries, roses, tomatoes (black spot), grapevines, melons, zuchini, capsicum & other leafy vegetables & fruit crops.
Use: Mix 30-40g to 10 litres water & add 20ml vegetable oil (or Eco-Oil for superior results). Apply at the first sign of disease with repeat applications as 7-10 day intervals.
Makes: Over 150 litres

Eco-oil is effective in the organic treatment of most pests in the garden. Based on canola oil rather than a petroleum oil (white oil), it is less likely to burn plants & does not have a negative effect on beneficial insects. It coats and penetrates the 'skin' of insects & their eggs, and also has a mild repellancy action o nthe leaves of plants, which discourages insects from laying new eggs on the sprayed areas. May also be used as a wetting agent with other sprays.
Treats: Citrus leaf miner, mites, aphids, mealy bugs, whitefly, scale, small grasshoppers & caterpillars.
Use: Mix 5-10ml Eco-oil with 1 litre water. Spray when pests first appear, with reapplication every 3-5 days while pests are present. Application varies for olive & citrus trees.

Finally, a bee-friendly, long-lasting, glass wasp trap. Simply fill the wasp trap with sweet liquid (eg. sugar water) and wasps will immeditately be attracted to it. They crawl up through the hole in the bottom of the bottle & become trapped. Bees are excluded as they have different flying abilities to wasps - they cannot fly directly upwards & are therefore unable to enter the trap.
Able to stand on its base or hung from a hook.
1 Wasp Trap $14.95
NOTE: Available for purchase via our market stall at Candelo Market (NSW) only - 1st Sunday of each month. Not for sale with online orders.
