***NOT TO TAS***  (Allium cepa) Also known as 'French Shallots'.  Beautiful, aromatic, golden, rounded bulbs with strong flavour.  Great for stews, casseroles & making your own pickled onions & sauces.  Leaves also used as a replacement for spring onions.  Similar to potato onions except bulbs are generally longer than they are wide.   
 
(Note: One bulb produces one plant which produces 8-12 bulbs at harvest)
