DID YOU KNOW:  Looseleaf lettuce does not produce a head, allowing continuous picking, as the plant continues to grow.  Also known as 'Perpetual' lettuce.  Looseleaf varieties are usually not as juicy as other types, but offer more in terms of colour & interest.  They are also more heat tolerant than other types.
