***NOT TO TAS*** (Allium sativum) Russian heirloom - named after Canadian grower Al Music, who reputedly brought this variety across from Italy in the 1980's having entered the region from Canada much earlier. Attractive, rounded, white, papery bulb with huge cloves and sharp, strong aromatic flavour with sweetness. Does best in cooler areas - will tolerate wet soil more than most other varieties. Rare variety. Disease resistant. Well suited to stir-fry, roasting, stews and raw.
