My favourite climbing bean for fresh eating. The pods have excellent flavour. I probably eat almost as many straight off the vines as make it the kitchen. I had them for the first time as a dry bean the other day in a classic pork, rice and beans dish. Wonderful. Melt in the mouth tender but held their shape well. I live in a relatively cool, dry climate and have no complaints about their performance. I have grown it every year since discovering it.
