(Cucurbita pepo)  Austrian heirloom from the province of Styria.  Large, mottled green/gold pumpkin grown for its large, green, hulless seeds (pepitas) which may be eaten raw or roasted or pressed for oil.  Each pumpkin contains over 200 seeds.  Flesh, although somewhat lacking in flavour, may also be used in pies, soups and casseroles, fed to chooks or added to compost.  90 days.  25 seeds
