POTATO ONION - MAMMOTH BROWN (5 Bulbs)

***NOT TO TAS*** (Allium cepa) Large variety of potato onion similar in size to regular onion. Old variety with rounded shape and brown papery skin. Easy to grow. Stores well - much longer than regular onions. Each bulb will produce approx. 8-12 new bulbs. In most areas planted in Autumn / Early Winter with harvest in spring. An ideal alternative to growing regular onions from seed as they are easy to weed and don't require thinning out - excellent for the elderly or time poor.

(Note: One bulb produces one plant which produces 8-12 bulbs at harvest)
