Hardin of Oklahoma in 1955.  Also known as 'Icebox Midget' or 'Tough Sweets'.  Round - oval melon up to 20cm across, with dark green rind, juicy, sweet, bright scarlet flesh & firm texture.  Very early variety.  Well suited to cooler climates, but produces well in most climates.  80 days.
