***NOT TO WA***  (Panicum miliaceum)  Annual, clumping grass to 1m high producing edible, highly nutritious, non-acid seed.  Commonly used as green manure adding organic matter, or as animal feed (birds).

Fast growing.  High yields. Drought tolerant requiring little water.

When grown as a green manure crop, plants are best dug back into the soil when the leaves are still fresh & green after approx. 8 weeks after planting.  Allow the green manure to break down in the soil for up to 4 weeks before planting any vegetables.

Best grown in Spring & Summer, & in tropical areas all year.

Broadcast as needed.

Smaller packets are ideal for the home garden.
