QUINCE B (BA29-C) ROOTSTOCK - SEMI-DWARFING (Bare Root Stem)

Semi-dwarfing reaching to 60% seedling tree size.

Quince rootstock can be used to graft all cultivars of quince, with no compatibility issues. The resulting trees will fruit earlier, yield better and be easier to manage than a quince grown on its own roots (propagated by cuttings or grafted onto seedling stock).
Quince rootstock may also be used for grafting pear varieties.

BARE ROOT STEM

You will receive 1 bare root stem only. It will come packaged in a moisture sealed, labelled bag. While the plant is in its dormant stage, it should be planted as soon as you receive it in the mail.
Our rootstocks are harvested from the ground in July each year & then posted to customers Late July / August.

Orders for rootstock are able to be placed at any time throughout the year, however please note that the cut-off date for all orders is June 30 for same year delivery.
All rootstock varieties are sold subject to availability.

ORCHARD LABEL
Long lasting Orchard Labels with fruit type & variety name - similar to those seen in Botanical Gardens.
May be either tied to a side branch with wire or chain, attached to a timber stake beside the tree with a screw or attached directly onto the tree using a galvanised long screw & spring to allow space for growth.
