(Lactuca sativa var asparagina)  Heirloom originating from Southern China.  Also known as 'Stemuretasu'.  Purple green long, thin, serrated leaves with purple stem.  Highly resistant to cold temperatures.  This variety is a celtuce type and is grown for its edible stalks and leaves.  Ideal for stir-fry and Choi-based dishes as well as in salads and mesclun. 600 seeds
