(Daucas carota)  Heritage dating back to 1871 & originating from Danvers, Massachusetts.  A variety producing deep orange, slightly tapered root 15-18cm.  Tolerates a wide range of soils; exceptionally strong top aids harvesting in clay soils.  Produces well even in hot, dry conditions.  Stores well.  Excellent variety.  Great for juicing, cooking, freezing or salads.  65-70 days.  1200 seeds
