(Vicia faba)  Rare variety.  Attractive deep red to dark crimson coloured seeds contained within a green pod.  Different compared to regular broad beans with a flavour comparable to chestnuts.  Produced on vigorous yet sturdy bush to 2m tall with little support required.  Inner beans retain their colour if steamed lightly rather than boiled.  15 seeds
