Slasher Weedkiller is a Registered Certified Organic herbicide that rapidly kills weeds, moss, algae and lichen. It is effectively used on gardens, paths, driveaways, around buildings and as a spot spray in lawns. It works quickly to easily control weeds the organic way! It works on contact and rapidly burns and desiccates plants so you’ll see results within a few hours.

Slasher Weedkiller is made from plant oils which have been turned into a substance called nonanoic acid. Nonanoic acid is also known as pelargonic acid and occurs naturally in plants.

While Slasher Weedkiller is a powerful herbicide it is still incredibly safe for the environment – it rapidly breakdowns in soils and is completely gone within a few days. Slasher Weedkiller contains no glyphosate and is Registered Organic and approved for use in organic gardens and farms.

Slasher Weedkiller is a non-selective contact weedkiller. Thorough coverage is needed when spraying because any parts you miss won’t be killed. Take care when spraying around your favourite plants as any spray drift will also damage them. Do not apply to wet weeds or if rain is imminent as the extra moisture will dilute the spray and weaken its impact.

Very Quick Acting

We bought this product because we weren't happy with using glycophosphate, but were unsure whether it would actually work. The first use (in the heat of summer) did little - but that may be the tough weeds we tested it on. Subsequently, the effect has been very dramatic and quick. For example, clover and soursobs turn orange and start wilting in less than 30 minutes (on a 15C day). By the next day most plants have wilted. It is important to get full coverage, as the spray will only kill what it touches, and other unsprayed leaves will remain, and may allow the weeds to survive. The quick action means that it is easy to see where you have missed and follow up with a second attempt. Great product, and much less damaging to the environment (or so we believe).

I wasn't sure how effective 'Slasher' may be after people who use roundup told me it wouldn't work ! But it does work and well. Make sure to cover as much of the weed surface as possible. I saw results in minutes after spraying on a sunny day with temperature around 20 degrees. Very happy to find and use a safe effective product.
