(Vicia faba)  An outstanding large podded bean (up to 30cm) containing 6-7 beans per pod - much longer and larger in size than regular broad bean varieties.  Outstandingly high yields.  Compact bush to 1m tall - tolerates windy conditions better than other types.  Tolerates warmer weather better than other varieties.  Beans able to be eaten freshly podded or left to mature for dried bean.  Prolific.
