***NOT TAS, NT, SA, WA***  (Ipomea batatas)  Also known as 'Kumara'.  Large tubers with  reddish-purple skin and dry, creamy white flesh.  Plant displays heart shaped, dark green leaves with purple stems.  Hardy and disease resistant.  Produces well even in cool areas.

Available as:

Single large tuber - plant whole or leave to sit on bench in shallow tray of water to allow bulb to 'shoot' producing 'slips' which may then be planted.
Pack of 5 small tubers - may be planted directly into ground.
Slips - Cuttings with roots ready to plant (most popular option)

Note:  Please allow 7-10 working days for order to be dispatched.  We cut the slips fresh from the vine upon receipt of your order.  They are then allowed to sit and form roots.  We then wait until the beginning of the week to dispatch so that they arrive to you in optimum condition.
