(Cucurbita moschata)  Heirloom dating back to the 1860's; so named as the growers at the time were not sure of what to call it so they simply named it 'JAP' an acronynm for 'Just Another Pumpkin'.  Also known as 'Kent'.  Greyish green, mottled, slightly ribbed medium sized pumpkin with bright yellow/orange flesh and nutty flavour similar to a sweet potato in texture and taste.  Great all rounder being used baked, roasted, grilled, mashed, or in cakes and pies.  Easy to cut.  110 days.  12 seeds
