STANDARD PURPLE STRIPE

BULB:  Large, round, symmetrical bulbs with cloves in a single or double layer.

TYPE:  Hardneck.  Strong Bolting.

FLAVOUR:  Rich, strong & nutty when cooked.

GROWING AREAS:  TAS, VIC, Southern NSW in cooler areas.  Grows best in cooler areas only but may do well in warm areas for a couple of years.

STORAGE:  Medium to long

PLANTING & HARVEST:  Mid to Late Season
