INDETERMINATE

Tall growing plant.  Plants produce tubers in multiple layers so it is necessary to keep mounding the soil around the plants to ensure high yields (tubers are produced wherever soil touches the stem) and support the plant. They usually have a much higher yield than determinate (bush) types but will produce later in the season with harvest beginning from 80 to 120 days.

To prepare the soil, dig a shallow trench 20cm wide and 20cm deep, placing the seed potatoes 35 to 40 cm apart and covering them with 10cm of soil. As the potato plants grow continue filling in the trench with soil (leaving approx 5cm of the plants leafy growth still above the soil surface) until the potatoes are buried to a depth of approx. 30cm.  Mulch well.  Tubers will develop along the full length of the stem wherever it makes contact with the soil.
If you are planting multiple rows space each row 50 cm apart.

NOTE:  Due to current quarantine restrictions, we are only able to send our seed potatoes to customers who reside in TASMANIA ONLY.  Please do not order if you are in any other states.
