BABY LEAF & MICROGREEN

Seed which is generally either sprouted or grown directly in the garden or in trays as microgreens (harvested from 10-25 days) or baby leaf salad greens (harvested from 25-28 days).    Some varieties may be harvested using scissors allowing plants to re-grow and produce multiple crops.

An excellent way of obtaining greens throughout the winter as trays may be brought inside into warmer conditions and also an alternative for those with limited garden space or balcony gardens.  Microgreens are also used to provide texture and colour or as a garnish and in salad mixes.
